I have more links in my Favorites list than I probably need, and I'll post a bunch of them here. They'll range from debate sites and science info to humor and animation--something for everyone, I hope!

BLAH BLAH BLAH

Nightly.net This is the very first message board I ever joined, right after I got my first computer. I was looking for Star Wars message boards, but this site also has forums for general chatting, television and movies, religion and politics, wrestling, writing, and many other subjects.

Christian Biblical Errancy Debate This is where I spend quite a lot of my free time when I'm on the Internet. Here, we discuss the MANY errors, contradictions, and just plain idiocy of the Bible, for the benefit of those who insist that it is the inerrant "word of God."

Atheist Forums is a great place for debating not only Christianity, but other religions, as well--or for just griping about that annoyingly loud Pentecostal church down the street.

Commercials I Hate The title says it all! If there are certain commercials you just can't stand, ones that make you want to throw blunt objects at the TV screen, then you need to go here and vent your frustrations. You're in good company!

Snopes.com Whenever you hear a rumor or receive an e-mail alleging that some shocking story is true, go here and learn the truth! Post on any of the many message boards while you're at it.

Concept Art is an AWESOME website! There are many, many talented people here with some marvelously creative artwork. I wish I were half as good as some of them. :o(

SHE BLINDED ME WITH SCIENCE

Earthquake Hazards Program This site continually updates information on earthquakes around the world, and also has maps and other quake info. Earth is a busy planet.

Ancient Taurid Meteor Storms Destructive meteorite falls possibly were well-known to our ancestors, who recorded them in their artwork and stories.

The Carolina Bays structures are proof positive of such bombardments in our not-too-distant past.

Cosmology 101 is a useful starting place for basic information about the universe according to our current understanding of it.

Paleontological Science Center, at the Lake Powell page. This goes a long way towards debunking the notion that humans are responsible for global warming. Scroll down to the chart where it says, "What is Earth's Climate Record?" and you'll see what I mean.

Understanding Evolution is undoubtedly the single most useful and thorough resource for the layman who wants to know more about evolution. I recommend it for believers and nonbelievers alike, as it is written in a manner that is concise and easy to follow, yet covers a huge amount of territory from the beginnings of evolutionary theory, to the latest discoveries in genetics research. There is no reason NOT to have this site bookmarked!

The Fabulous Kingdom of Gay Animals! If you thought that homosexuality was strictly a human quality--and that it is some horrible sin to be purged and detested--then this will surely make you think again. Did you know that male ostriches have a special dance that they reserve only for courting other males? Well, now you do!

LOLZ!

Godchecker All gods, all the time! They have gods you never even heard of, and it's probably just as well, since most of them are not very nice.

SPAMusement Do some spam subject lines give you questionable mental imagery? This guy has made drawings out of them!

Superdickery We all suspected that Superman was a dick--this website proves it! You'll never look at your favorite superhero quite the same way again.

Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. May you be touched by His Noodly Appendage.

Stupid Comics. I think my favorite is Fantomah and the weapon-wielding gorillas.

Pythonism --for when you care enough to post the very best.

ANIMATIONS

Most of these animations, plus many, many more, can be found at Albino Blacksheep.com.

Jamez Bond has an adventure inside a giant plastic toy, saving the world from an evil Alex Trebek and his army of clones! Love Hina lyrics are here.

Everybody say YATTA!! A fun fanimutation that makes you want to sing along, even if you don't know the words!

Everyone Else Has Had More Sex Than Me. No, really, they have. :-\

Llama, llama, duck...It's The Llama Song! Completely absurd, but highly addictive.

A French Erotic Film, starring Colin Mochrie! Bet you never thought you'd see his name in conjunction with the words "French" and "Erotic."

The Nu ma Nu ma guy is so ridiculous, he's cool, having achieved something of a minor cult status on the 'Net. The song is called Dragostea Din Tea and the lyrics are here. Never let it be said that my site isn't educational.

Ja Da! Features Maggie Thatcher's head spliced onto the body of a kitten, and a giant rampaging rabbit. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Put a smile on your face and make the world a better place! What's really on the back of a smiley face.

The Elements, by the late, great Tom Lehrer. How does he talk so fast??

Here's a cute little video of Pink Floyd's Bike

Banana Phone! Catchy and fun, but annoying after awhile, especially since it goes into a continuous loop.

Fatboy Slim's Weapon of Choice Check out the other stuff on this site, too, as it's pretty cool. The creator of this animation makes animated stick figures an art form!

Birthdays Blow! Come on, we all know it's true, now pass the sentiment on to your best friends.

RATHERGOOD.COM has lots of cool stuff, and here are some of my faves:

I Like Your Pants!

My Cat's Got Knees, featuring Vladimir, the cat with knees.

First Drink of the Day

Stompy featuring the music of Laibach. German lyrics Here. English translation.

USEFUL INFORMATION

GRsites.com is a great place for website backgrounds.

HTML True Color Chart and Hype's Color Specifier for Netscape are handy for both artwork and website building.

BibleGateway.com I use this quite often on Christian debate groups.

The Skeptic's Annotated Bible divides biblical scriptures into 14 categories for easy reference when refuting those annoying Bible-thumpers.

The Blue Letter Bible lets you look up verses and see word definitions in Hebrew and Greek.

"They say the meek shall inherit because they stay up late and change the will." ~ Heywood Banks
